DESCRIPTION:The Wawa Foundation has been an incredible leader within the Feeding America network for more than 20 years. In 2024 alone\, The Wawa Foundation raised more than $1M though their Check Out Hunger register campaign to support more than 29 foodbanks through the leadership of Community FoodBank of New Jersey. \nWawa stores are expanding\, and so is the Wawa Foundation’s annual register campaign! New this year\, The Wawa Foundation is partnering with Feeding America to launch their register campaign expanding their reach to support even more food banks featuring customized signage at the register with local food bank logos.\n\nThis campaign has 3 promotional components: \nThe Coin Canister– 100% of funds go to The Wawa Foundation- 50% will be granted out to local food banks based on zip code.\nRound Up at the Register– 100% of funds go to The Wawa Foundation- 50% will be granted out to local food banks based on zip code.\nUPC Scans at the Register– Individuals can make a donation of either $1\, $3\, or $5 via UPC scans at the register- 100% of proceeds support local food banks based on zip code.\nCampaign Dates:\n\n\n10/27 Register campaign begins\n\n\n10/27 (or later) Food banks encouraged to visit local Wawa stores (please plan to visit stores either between 9-11 a.m. or 1-3 p.m. to avoid rush times)\n\n\n11/17 – 12/14 UPC scan cards are active\n\n\n12/29 Register campaign concludes
