USDA Civil Rights Training 

The purpose of this Civil Rights training is to establish and convey policy and provide guidance and direction to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and its recipients and customers, and ensure compliance with and enforcement of the prohibition against discrimination in TEFAP all FNS nutrition programs and activities, whether federally funded in whole or not.

**Attendance is mandatory for all TEFAP distribution sites.

Dates & Times: 2nd Wednesday of every month from 12 – 2 pm

 

 

Agency Orientation Training

This orientation is designed to acquaint agency and potential agency representatives with Food Bank services, policies, procedures and regulations associated with partner agency membership.

Orientation attendance is mandatory for all new members and new staff and/or volunteers associated with current members who are authorized to access Food Bank inventory and/or services on behalf of their agency.

Agenda

  • Introduction to All Faiths Food Bank and the Feeding America network
  • Membership regulations and record keeping
  • Review of the inventory list and ordering procedures
  • Warehouse tour (closed toe shoes required in warehouse)
