6/12/2024 –Recall Alert: Green Life Farms Baby Arugula

All Faiths Food Bank is aware of the recall that has been issued for Green Wise Baby Arugula.  This is being recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Product was shipped to Publix. The sell by date on the product is 6/15/2024. It is possible that agencies received some of this product in Assorted Produce or via retail drops.

The product comes in a 4-ounce, clear plastic package marked with a lot code stamped on the top. The recall only applies to products marked with Lot #LW15124.

We ask that all agencies check their current inventory for the listed items. Agencies that may have this product on hand, please discard the product. We will keep you apprised of any additional information that comes through the Food and Drug Administration to communicate to your clients. 5/20/2024 –Recall Alert: Reser’s Fine Foods Single Batch of Aldi Macaroni 32 oz Salad with Use By Date of Jun/03/24 due to Unlabeled Wheat Allergen

AFFB has been made aware of a recent recall announced by Reser Foods on May 20, 2024, for Macaroni Salad. This item has been sold at Aldi. NOTE: We have not received this item by the case, however, it is possible that this was received and distributed through retail pick-ups or drops.  

The product is the Aldi Deli Macaroni Salad 32 oz, with a Use By Date of Jun/03/24 due to an incorrect label. The incorrect label does not include an allergen callout for wheat.

5/7/2024 –Recall Alert: Planters Honey Roasted Peanuts and Deluxe Lightly Salted Mixed Nuts

All Faiths Food Bank is aware of the recall announced on 5/3 that has been issued for two PLANTERS nut products. These are being recalled because they have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Product was shipped to Publix. It is possible that agencies received some of this product in Assorted Product or via retail drops. The following items are currently being recalled:

  • Brand: PLANTERS Description: Honey Roasted Peanuts Size: 4 oz. Bag UPC: 2900002097 Best if Used By: 04/11/25
  • Brand: PLANTERS Description: Deluxe Lightly Salted Mixed Nuts  Size: 8.64 oz. Can UPC: 2900001621 Best if Used By: 04/05/26

We ask that all agencies check their current inventory for the listed items. Agencies that may have this product on hand, please discard the product. 4/18/2024 – Recall Notice: Infinite Herbs Organic Basil

All Faiths Food Bank has been made aware of a recent recall announced by Infinite Herbs on April 17, 2024, for organic basil. This item has been sold at Trader Joe’s. The recall is for the 2.5-oz clamshell Organic Basic due to potential contamination with Salmonella. If items are found in retail pick, they should be properly discarded.

AFFB does not pick up Trader Joes. Agencies that pick up directly from Trader Joes should inspect your assorted products carefully.
