Throughout the year, All Faiths Food Bank engages our community through various campaigns and events. Your generous support of these efforts provides food and life-saving resources for people facing hunger in Sarasota and DeSoto counties.
Walk to End Summer Hunger
March 30
This community walk at Nathan Benderson Park kicks off our annual Campaign Against Summer Hunger.
Campaign Against Summer Hunger
April 1 – May 15
When school ends, hunger begins for more than 40,000 local children.
With the compassionate help of donors, volunteers and community partners, the Campaign Against Summer Hunger raises funds for summer feeding programs.
Autumn Harvest campaign
Aug. 1 – Sept. 30
Our Autumn Harvest campaign helps to provide fresh produce to our neighbors in need.
The campaign includes an intimate farm-to-table style dinner in our warehouse Saturday, Oct. 4 – all while raising funds for our produce program.

Hunger Action Month
September
The entire month of September is devoted to Hunger Action Month, which raises awareness about the issue of hunger in our communities.
ThankFULL Tummies and Hearts campaign
Oct. 15 – Dec. 31
For families facing financial challenges, the holidays can be a painful reminder of hunger.
Your support turns empty plates into ThankFULL Tummies and Hearts by providing meals for our neighbors during the holiday season.
Bowls of Hope
Nov. 9
One of the community’s largest and most popular family-friendly events, Bowls of Hope draws around 1,500 guests each year.
Dozens of the area’s finest restaurants and caterers serve delicious soups, breads, desserts and more.
Attendees select from beautiful, handcrafted bowls to keep – while helping to end hunger in our community.
